The Salon: Art and Design

@SarahMyerscoughGallery @HostlerBurrows @GalerieDePassage

The Salon Art + Design is the world's finest galleries exhibiting historical, modern and contemporary furniture, groundbreaking decorative arts, and late 19th and 20th century fine art.  Also, designs by the great 20th century masters, as well as creative works by today's most innovative young artists. Look for Art Deco, Mid Century Modern from America, France, Italy, and Scandinavia paired with the work of young designers.

I go every year.  So many pieces are always unique and fun.  But after I see the Tefaf show last month, I was little afraid if each gallery curates the booth little more better, the piece will be shown much nicer.  I think I am an interior designer.  I see the piece better with well curated space...

+Chenel Galerie @AxelverVoordtgallery

    TEFAF was established in 1988. It is widely regarded as the world's pre-eminent fair of art and antiques.  They champion the finest quality art from across ages by creating a community of the world's top art dealers and experts to inspire loves and buyers of art everywhere.  It is fist year in New York with Park Avenue Armory's additional new space. Park Avenue Armory is perfect place for the show since it is located in New York's Privileged neighborhood.

It was an amazing and inspirational experience to attend the show.  The opening day, Anderson Cooper came the Armory on his lunch break and purchase a work at the Otto Naumann LTD. booth: Anton Raphael Menas's Portrait of Mariana de Silva y Sarmiento, Duquesa de Huescar, for $275,000.

I am glad that we can see the stunning show twice a year in New York.
