After two years failing of major art shows in New York, it was so excited to see all art fairs in New York were opened as they planned. Many galleries and museums had a special shows for another great New York Art Month.
Tefaf New York Spring 2022
a lot simpler and modern show than previous years including their flower decoration. But it was one of the best Art Fairs overall.
Frieze New York 2022
They switched the show location to the Shed in Hudson Yards since 2021. It is a lot smaller. Not many galleries were participated. I remember they used to have an amazing presentation of the show and art works. But last a few years, I feel it becomes a less interesting show. The Tefaf is showing major artists works. The Independent is showing all different kind of arts from achieve artists works. The Nada and Volta presented emerging artists works. So not sure where they stand now. However, David Zwiner presented only one artist, Carol Bove on red wall which was stunning, and Gagocian Gallery presented an artwork which audience can interact.
