AD Home Show

The Architectural Digest Home Design show started yesterday. Some of the show Rooms from New York Design Center and Decoration & Design Center in New York also participate in the show. So you can see what option you have more with design professional. They always have creative dining section which was nice as well. Make sure you check Art furniture and accessories which is a fun part of the show as well.

Asia Week


Asia Week New York 2012 is a collaboration among Asian art specialists5 auction houses, and 17 museums and Asian cultural institutions in the metropolitan New York area from March 16-24, 2012. Simultaneous exhibitions presented by more than 30 prominent Asian art dealers from the U.S. and abroad, auctions at, BonhamsChristie’sDoyle New York,iGavel, and Sotheby’s as well as dozens of special events are planned for this period. All exhibitions, auctions, and events are listed in a comprehensive 80-page guide with maps, available at the participating galleries, auction houses, and cultural institutions in February 2012 as well as on the Asia Week New York web site.

I was at the Press Tour on Mar. 14.  It was quite educational and interesting to check different galleries out.  Here are some galleries which I find interesting.

Zetterquist galleries (Chinese ceramics from the Sui Dynasty (581-618 A.D.) through the Yuan Dynasty (1271 - 1368 A.D.) Mar. 17th - 28th, 2012 ; I went to his last year's Vietnamese Antique Ceramic Art Works exhibition which was great.  He didn't disappoint me this year as well if you like the Antique Chinese Ceramic Art Works, it will be great place to check it out...
