Miami Art Week 2022

The king of contemporary Art, scene

It is always nice to be in Miami Art Week since I can escape from the cold weather for a little while.  The shows are different every year, but the weather is always nice, fun to go to hotel parties, enjoy art shows, and meet a few people.  This year, I stayed for a shorter period. I was quite busy going around town.

The Art Basel show was a lot more interesting than in other years.  Art Miami show is always consistent, it is a great place to check out for most art buyers.  Nada and Untitled were not very impressive, however, there are always a few good shows.  So worth checking them out...

Linea Recto y Punto by Fernando Garcia Ponce
1985 & El sol Rojo by Calder 1967

Loved artworks presented by #Proyetosmonclova in Mexico since Mexico's contemporary art market has been growing over the last few years above the image

Guillaume Bijl's 1984 installation at S.M.A.K Ghent of a working casino

Meredith Rosen Gallery presented 1984's Art installation Casino which was interesting at Art Basel Miami Beach 2022.
#Hijack by #Contessagallery at #ArtMiami2022

Contessa Gallery made a booth with Hijack artwork which describes Banksy's work above the image.

Doria Gallery show at #UntitledMiamiBeach2022

A Greek Gallery shows very interesting contemporary art that recalls Greek myth. If it wasn't a Greek gallery, maybe it would be less interesting.

#YayoiKusama installation at #RubellMusuem

Nice to check out the Rubell Museum. It wasn't a big museum, but they have three Yayoi Kusama Art installations and #Damienhirst, #mauriziocattelan #nara, #takamura #noahDavis,'s works, and so on. A list of places to check while you are visiting #Miamibeachartweek

Attended a fun party at Kohler's 150-anniversary and Almer and Etro cocktail party at the Miami Beach Edition Hotel.

Also as my routine, I went to the beach every morning and walked around the beach for at least 30 minutes which was precious time... looking forward to next year!!!
