Art Market Hampton 2018: Art and Design

Since it is the only art fair which is held in Hampton this year. Many people came and could see many different artworks from established emerging artist's works to Masterworks...

It was a little different from previous years... More interesting and good art and over million dollar pieces were shown as well: David Hockney, Chagall, Robert Indiana, and so on...

Christie's Summer Preview Party in Red Hook

Christie's first open, Contemporary & postmodern preview party happened in Red Hook, NY which is their storage space. It is second year. It wasn't well organized like last year. They didn't have much work and didn't have many interesting pieces which was disappointing...
But the Party was fun...

NY Frieze Week 2018

TEFAF Spring 2018

It is only my second year in NY. I feel like it grows so fast. This year, they featured 90 of the world’s most illustrious dealers in modern and contemporary art and design, with 24 new participants, including Gagosian, Gladstone Gallery, Hauser & Wirth, Marian Goodman Gallery, Lévy Grovy, Matthew Marks Gallery, Mnuchin Gallery, Taffin, White Cube, and more. The Fair provides an unrivaled draw for a community of collectors, museum curators, and art lovers from around the world.
So many people came for preview hours. All major dealers were in their booths most of the preview hours as well. Could tell how important the fair is. It was so nice to sit on Park Ave. Armory mezzanine level balcony and having a glass of Ruinart champagne and Lobster roll overviewing the show.

Opening day was fabulous as always... #ninayashar's hijab was beautiful...

Galerie Gmurzynska created very unique exhibition space last year and this year.
gave them big credit for it.

Loved how HostlerBurrows presents their pieces...

My favorite furniture dealers; @DanskMobelkunstgallery @DemischDanant

Art New York

They combine with context NY this year.  Somehow it was smaller than in previous years.  But I could see many international galleries and artists which was nice.  Since most big art fairs go with big or popular artists in New York galleries, it was refreshing to see Cuban and Monacan artists works.

Frieze NY

There was a major change in the Frieze since they changed their exhibition layout.  They used to be known for well-organized and big open spaces, but this time, they made smaller sections, and no gallery has a huge space which was beneficial for small galleries.  It feels more intimate which means I can see art more personally....  didn't find anything so different or interesting works, but in general, they always have decent pieces...
